Services for milking equipment

Services for milking equipment

When your milking equipment is in action 365 days a year, you need to be sure it will go the distance. Just as your car needs regular servicing to ensure it runs smoothly, so does your milking machinery. Regular preventive maintenance maintains and improves milking efficiency.

Preventive maintenance for efficient milking

Regular scheduled maintenance service keeps your milking system working smoothly. It:

  • protects milk quality
  • protects herd health
  • optimises performance
  • reduces energy consumption
  • maintains reliability
  • extends equipment durability
  • reduces risk of emergencies and emergency callouts

DeLaval InService™ preventive maintenance protocols provide for all your DeLaval milking equipment to be serviced, tested and adjusted when needed. Any replacements are made with original parts. Replacing DeLaval original liners, tubing and parts in time is essential to maintain your milking equipment’s performance – for reliable, gentle and efficient milking.

< Professional tools

We know our own equipment better than anyone, and we have a distinct advantage in servicing them with the help of specialised tools.

For example, our trained service technicians use the unique DeLaval VPR100 to accurately evaluate, calibrate and set up your milking machine – so you can get the most out of your equipment.

Less worry

As we launched InService™ in 2008, we now have farmers who are on their third service agreement and are seeing clear improvements through increased productivity and better udder health.

One of the DeLaval farmers on his third consecutive InService™ agreement is Dwayne Neal. He and his family run Laureldene Farms in Boyanup, Western Australia, where they milk about 210 cows in a 20 unit plant with ALPRO™ herd management.

“It takes a lot of the worry out of managing the farm. We don’t have to remember to order chemicals or parts; our technician just arrives and does our servicing when it’s due. We know that the plant will be serviced and liners changed at the right time. It also helps us to manage cash flow, because we know when to expect the maintenance charges. As a result the plant works very well,”

“We will definitely be renewing our service agreement again when it is due.”
